OUR STORY

New Horizons New Directions Preparatory Academy was founded by Mrs. Jamie W. Mann, M.Ed. in 2009 as a learning center serving grades k-12 in academic intervention services. NHND Prep was designed with individualized learning in mind. The Academy was established to meet the individual needs of students taking into account that students’ learning styles and pace of learning are not all the same. NHND Prep was accredited in 2011 by the Georgia Accrediting Commission (GAC). NHND Prep has since served hundreds of students in reaching their academic potential. Ninety-five percent of NHND Prep graduates have furthered their education and training through universities, technical schools, or military services. NHND Prep prides itself on being not just a school but a ministry – helping to make a difference in the lives of students, their families, and the community.
